Week 5 (FYP 2)

         By this week, I was constructed the circuit use the Microphone stethoscope and Condenser sensor as a sensor connect to op-amp (non-inverting circuit) and Voltage comparator (Switching circuit)  to amplify the signal of heart beat and using the oscilloscope to get the input waveform of heart beat signal.  Then, I was combined the circuit with the the successful done compile programm of Arduino software to try shown the result from the circuit join to the Microcontroller and try display to the LCD.

              The first one of the picture below shows the connection of the circuit for the circuit testing to check the the combination of circuit function with all Op-Amp and the second picture shown the circuit connected with the Arduino kit.

Week 4 (FYP 2)

                My progress for this week is to create programming for my Final Year Project. The three main software that I used for the project which is Arduino, Proteus 7 Professional and PCB design. The Proteus is used to build Schematic diagram, PCB is used to build connection diagram and Arduino is used to create C language program. First of all, I try to create the simple one program using Arduino to set the heart beat count per minute simultaneously. when I compile the programming it's running successfully for the software testing without connect to hardware. It's maybe have some noise or distortion when I connect to hardware after this maybe it's because of the sensor or something else on the circuit. 

            This program is really not done yet because there will be many changing in my operation or maybe I will add or changes something news for my Final Year project later. Below are the example of program that I compile using Arduino software:

Week 3 (FYP 2)

               In the week, I went to Jalan Pasar to purchase some of component that I use for my Electronic Stethoscope. The main part an equipment that I buy at Jalan Pasar is Arduino UNO to start create my program. I try to find Arduino Duemilanove that Microcontroller I suggest in my proposal before, but it's hard to find Jalan Pasar and lastly from my research and survey I decide to buy Arduino UNO because the method that I use for my programming is still same. At Jalan Pasar Also, I buy another equipments and components like Stetoscope, Breadboard, PCB board, Condenser Sensor, LM 411, LM 311, LM 7812, LCD Disaplay 6 x 12, Crystal, LED, Capacitor, Transistor and Inductor to start build my final year project .

Week 2 (FYP 2)

              In this week, I attend for briefing Final Year Project semester 2 for degree student conducted by Sir Azman and Sir Halim at TTL 1 UniKL Bmi on Thursday, 31 January 2013. All student especially FYP student semester 2 cumpolsary to attend this briefing. Objective from the briefing that we get are more explanation about the project such as give the schedule or scheme of work for FYP 2 degree student and also advise to start our progress to build the project early and explain detail for doing the projects.
